About the Cadre
Where the guard comes down.
Every technology and security executive carries a version of the truth they can’t say on a webinar, a panel, or a vendor call. The Cadre exists so that version has somewhere to go — a table of true peers in Orange County, California, with reach wherever our members are.
The main ingredient
Trust, served first.
Everything else on the menu — the counsel, the intelligence, the introductions — follows from one thing: a room where every seat has earned the right to be candid. Eighteen chairs. Every one of them desk-verified, every one a peer. Nobody works the table, no audience, no recorder.
“The risk register no one publishes only comes out over dinner — when everyone at the table has one too.”
— The Founder
Our house rule
The Chatham House Rule — it isn’t secrecy. It’s permission.
The rule is nearly a century old and beautifully simple: take everything you learn, leave behind who said it. It’s not a restriction on the conversation — it’s the reason the conversation happens at all.
What you take with you
Every lesson, every number, every hard-won mistake shared at the table. Use it Monday morning. That’s the point.
What stays at the table
Names, companies, attribution. Who said it, and who was in the room. That’s the price of hearing the real version — and it’s a bargain.
Every member signs this covenant once, on first entry. One signature, kept on your record — and a room that speaks freely because of it.
Sponsors
Somebody buys the dinner. Nobody sells at it.
A table costs real money, and we would rather a sponsor covered it than put a price on a seat. So we choose sponsors before the invitations go out, and only senior leadership takes the chair — the people who run the business, not the people carrying a number.
What a sponsor gets
A seat at a table of peers, an honest hour on the subject they care about, and a brief word to the room on the topic itself. That is the whole of it, and it is worth more than a booth.
What a sponsor never does
Pitch the product, run slides, work the room, or follow anyone up with a sequence. The covenant binds them exactly as it binds a member — and a sponsor who forgets it is not asked back.
Executives come here for their peers and for a good evening. Every rule above exists to protect those two things. If something a sponsor said sparks your curiosity, that conversation is yours to start — on your terms, after dessert.
The Table
Private dinners in Southern California’s finest rooms — CPE credits issued on attendance, certificates your auditor can verify.
The Cadre
A desk-verified directory of peers, each with a permanent membership number and a level that opens doors as standing grows.
The Concierge
One message handles everything — and it answers only the verified channels on your member record.
Built by leaders, for leaders — and kept that way.
Membership is free and by invitation. You’re welcome to apply — every profile is read personally by the desk, because the room is only as good as its chairs.
